Information Systems


The Information Systems Department comprises two IT specialists and one communication manager who provide day-to-day technical support for the research and administrative laboratory teams.

Its missions include :

  • the management of the laboratory’s infrastructure (network, virtualized servers, 350 workstations),
  • the development of the information system using industry-specific software,
  • the securing and valorisation of scientific assets

The CNRS Information Systems Security Policy is applied throughout the institute. Its aim is to guarantee the protection of scientific assets according to three fundamental principles:

  • Availability of IT resources (network, system, web services)
  • Security, Protection & Confidentiality of scientific assets (access rights management, encryption, systematic installation of antivirus software on workstations)
  • Data integrity and backup
