ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE
The administrative department is a research support service that assists the laboratory’s research teams and support services.
The department’s collective missions cover a wide range of activities :
Administration :
- Management support
- HR management (permanent and non-permanent staff)
- Travel management for staff and guests
Financial and accounting management :
- Credit management
- Purchasing management
- Budget monitoring and financial justification of research contracts
- Expense tracking and analysis
TECHNICAL and LOGISTICS SERVICE (Joint service with UMR5082)
The technical and logistics department is a research support service that assists the laboratory’s research teams and support services.
The department’s collective missions cover a wide range of activities:
- Plan, organize and manage the operation and maintenance of facilities in the two buildings
- Ensures the building’s thermal regulation
- Guarantees maintenance, modification and improvement work on the building’s high-voltage installations
- Monitors and controls outsourced maintenance services for buildings and technical installations
- Implements and maintains the building’s safety equipment in accordance with RPC instructions, to ensure the safety of people and the building
INFORMATION SYSTEMS
The information systems department comprises two IT specialists and a communication officer, who provide day-to-day logistical support for research development. Its missions are to :
- Manage the laboratory’s infrastructures (network, IT equipment and servers under virtualized architecture)
- Develop the information system, using quality management software to develop the various business processes
- Ensure the availability of IT resources (network, system, web services)
- Guarantee the security, protection & confidentiality of scientific data
The CNRS Information Systems Security Policy is applied throughout the Institute : in addition to the various technical solutions implemented to protect data, awareness-raising campaigns are regularly conducted among staff.
